DIY Veg Cabinet

It's about 5' long, 2' tall, and 1' deep.

Here's what it looked like when I got it...

I replaced some wood and changed its configuration so it actually lays on its side now.

Painted it, cut a couple holes, and added some 4" ducting with a 4" 80cfm inline duct booster fan for an exhaust. $25 for the fan at Home Depot.

It also has two single 2' T-5 lights in it now.

hey, i was thinking about making something like this for rooting the cuttings, thanks for the info Dudz!

No prob!

It's pretty easy to turn an old piece of furniture such as a cabinet, dresser, or armoire into viable grow space. :)

Those booster fans start wearing out and making a bunch of noise too fast though ....or at least mine did. If noise is a big issue for you, plan on replacing it every 6 months or so. Or maybe mine wore out faster from gravity and inertia because it's mounted vertically instead of horizontally?

Dudz !

genius, incredibly simple design !

going to have to borrow your vent ideas !

Note you can easily direct the intake and exhaust to ensure even circulation

thanks a bunch !
