    New grower seeks advice.

Hmmm, hard to see, but it doesn't look like mildew to me. When a plant gets big enough, the older growth stems become harder and sort of flaky-skin looking, kind of like a thin bark. Is it on just the stems? They sure look ready to transplant though, their roots are probably begging to grow out.

Hash from local rec dispensary in Washington county

Hah! I'm tempted to make one and wear it around the house just to see my wife's reaction.

Hah! The bottle! Brilliant! That's what I was missing today when I was cleaning off my oil scraper tool...
  4. @503loyaltoker Yeah, knowing what's in it is pretty important. I'm surprised that it isn't listed... it seems like this would be a liability. Although I think it's pretty rare, some people are allergic to the carrier gas or solvent used in inhalers.
  5. Wow, I haven't seen these before, what a great idea. Thanks for posting about this @503loyaltoker. I see that the Inspire inhaler lists the propellant gas and solvents (134a, etoh, and pg). Does the One Gro list these anywhere by chance?

    Perpetual grow tent setup?

Greetings Folks, I've been approved by the local housing authority (wife) to get a second grow tent to do a perpetual grow. I'm greatly restricted by space and completely new to this, so I wanted to see what you folks think about space requirements. Currently I have one 2'x4'x6'7" gorilla lite tent. I figure this would probably be best left as the flowering tent due to its height. I plan to have 2 to 6 plants in this flowering tent depending on growing methods (I would like to be able to do a 6 plant SOG, as well as a 2 plant SCROG in this tent). If I am doing a 6 plant SOG, I assume I would want enough veg tent space for at least 6 vegging plants. Would a 2'x2' tent be a big enough area for 6 plants for veg tent, or am I dreamin'? I was eyeing the secret jardin dark room twin T60 tent since it has a separate chamber on the bottom for clones: https://hydrobuilder.com/secret-jardin-twin-2-5-2-x-2-x-6.html If this is too small, maybe I could take a 2x3 tent and put a partition shelf in it and have clones on the bottom and veg on the top of the partition? What do y'all think? Thanks! -Stubs

    Perpetual grow tent setup?

I spoke with TW on chat last night, he said the 2x2 tent that I linked to should work to supply my 2x4 flower tent. However, something that I neglected to think about was a space for drying. Odor control is important, as my wife made it a condition that I could grow as long as I kept the smells controlled (within reason). Unfortunately there aren't many 2x3 tents, much less with three chambers. I could probably get away with a 2x4 tent if it had three chambers, but I haven't found one yet. Might be taking TW's advice and just getting a large cardboard box for the time being.

    OHA Oregon Cannabis Commission Meetings

Greetings Friends, The Oregon Cannabis Commission was established through House Bill 2198 for determining: A possible framework for future governance of the Oregon Medical Marijuana program; Steps to address research on cannabis in areas of public health policy and public safety policy; Agronomic and horticultural best practices; Medical and pharmacopoeia best practices; A long-term plan to ensure cannabis will remain affordable to persons with debilitating medial conditions; and Monitor and study federal laws, regulations and policies regarding marijuana. Their website is located here: http://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/DISEASESCONDITIONS/CHRONICDISEASE/MEDICALMARIJUANAPROGRAM/Pages/Cannabis-Commission.aspx#commission At the end of meetings, there is a public comment period. It is important that we, as patients and/or growers, make sure our voices are heard. In addition to public comments made in-person, it looks like they also take written comments. I encourage you to read other people's comments, which are recorded in the meeting minutes available on the above website, and write/orate your own comment on what you think needs to be improved in the OMMP. If you need help writing, or if you would like someone to review and suggest edits for your comment, please feel free to contact me. There are two main types of meetings related to the Oregon Cannabis Commission; commission meetings and subcommittee meetings. My understanding is that the subcommittee meetings focus on a particular aspect of the OMMP, then report to the Commission. So far, there are four subcommittees: -Product Integrity -Access for Patients -Research -Training In this thread, I will post when Oregon Cannabis Commission meetings have been scheduled and here we can discuss the meeting if someone was able to attend. If you can attend a meeting, please let us know! Also, if you have any ideas, please don't hesitate to share them here.

  13. Hi all, I have some questions that have been nagging me about Oregon mmj possession limits. But first, some background info: I am an OMMP patient and have designated myself as my grower and my grow site is my residence (I have both OMMP patient and OMMP grower cards). I only grow for myself, so my limit is 6 mature mj plants. For ommp growers, the OAR states: 333-008-0580 Usable Marijuana Possession Limits for a Person Designated to Produce Marijuana by a Patient (1) Subject to section (2) of this rule, a person designated to produce marijuana by a patient may possess the amount of usable marijuana that the person harvests from his or her mature marijuana plants, provided that the person may not possess usable marijuana in excess of the amount of usable marijuana in the person’s possession as reported to the Authority under OAR 333-008-0630. (2) A person designated to produce marijuana by a patient may not possess usable marijuana in excess of: (a) For a marijuana grow site located outdoors, 12 pounds of usable marijuana per mature marijuana plant; or ( For a marijuana grow site located indoors, six pounds of usable marijuana per mature marijuana plant. (3) Unless a PRMG falls within the definition of a person designated to produce marijuana by a patient the PRMG may only possess the amount of usable marijuana that is permitted under ORS 475B.245. (4) A PRMG producing marijuana at a grow site where there are multiple PRMGs registered must physically segregate the usable marijuana at the grow site address that is the property of the PRMG or the PRMG’s patients by placing the usable marijuana in a receptacle or multiple receptacles and attaching a label to the receptacle that includes the PRMG’s name, identification card number and patient identification number. (5) If during an investigation the Authority determines that usable marijuana has not been segregated in accordance with section (4) of this rule or that usable marijuana at the grow site is identified as belonging to an individual who is not registered at the grow site, the Authority may suspend or revoke the registration of the grow site address for all PRMGs producing at that grow site and the PRMG’s cards. Stat. Auth.: ORS 475B.525 Stats. Implemented: ORS 475B.430 Hist.: PH 9-2016, f. 2-26-16, cert. ef. 3-1-16 I feel like the OAR isn't super clear. My questions are as follows: 1. Is the possession limit 6 lbs per indoor plant grown and harvested? For example, say I grow one plant indoors and harvest a very optimistic 6 lbs of usable mmj from this plant and put every bit of the 6 lbs into storage and don't use any of it. Months later, say I grow and harvest 6 indoor plants, again, with each plant optimistically yielding 6 lbs each. I would then have 42 lbs total. Would this be in compliance? 2. Am I limited to a maximum total possession of 36 lbs (6 plant limit x 6 lbs = 36 lbs)? In other words, is the possession limit a simple cap at 36 lbs for a grower with a single patient? 3. Since I designated myself as my own grower, am I allowed to have my OMMP patient limits PLUS grower limits? Thanks! -Stubs

    OMMP grower Possession Limit Questions

Sorry Eddie, I realized that my third question isn't clear. Changes are bold and italicized. The question should read: 3. Since I designated myself as my own OMMP grower, am I allowed to have my OMMP patient possession limits (24 oz) PLUS my OMMP grower (aka PRMG) posession limits (6 lbs per mature marijuana plant for indoor grow site)? I could never be a lawyer. I'd go off the deep end trying to make sense of this alien language on a daily basis. I wonder if there are any lawyers here in the PIF community who might be able to translate all of this legalese jibber-jabber into plain ol' 'merican

    OMMP grower Possession Limit Questions

Hi Eddie, thanks for your response. I fail to see the logic in the OLCC controlling a medical program....I feel like the OHA is much more qualified to run such a program... is this transfer already set in stone, or is it just proposed at this point? Pardon my ignorance, political and legal matters are often lost on me.
