  4. Funk Kush Indica THC: 15.51% CBD: 0.06% Genetics - Not entirely sure on this one. If anyone has any info on it, I’d love to hear. Looks - This strain looks amazing, such a deep purple that it’s almost black. The light reveals it's dense concentration of trichomes. Little bits of green poke their heads out, but this is very dark flower. Smell - These beauties smell a bit like pine/grape at first, but very skunky once you break open a nug. The scent lingers for quite a bit, lovely. Feel - The nugs were nice and tight, very sticky. This batch was a bit dry, but still great to work with. Taste from Volcano vaporizer - The smoke is smooth, tastes earthy and finishes a bit grapey/sweet. Taste from dry pipe - The smoke is heavy, tastes skunky with a bit of spice. Effects - This is a great strain for getting some sleep, makes my eyelids feel like they weigh as much as bricks. Nice full body relaxation/calming strain. Awesome for helping with pain, it really helps alleviate my personal chronic pain. Overall Impressions - I really like this strain, I just wish there was more information out there about it. It looks great, smells great, smokes great, and gives great pain relief. If you can find it, definitely give it a try.
  5. Chemdawg THC: 23.87% CBD: 0.1% Balanced Hybrid The genetics behind this great strain are unknown. Some say Chemdawg has a part in the powerhouse strains of OG Kush and Sour Diesel. Look - These buds are a sight to behold. You immediately notice the sea of trichomes that seem to blanket every section of the flower. The fiery pistils bob and weave their way through the leaves, adding to this strain’s complex beauty. Smell - This strain has an amazing earthy/diesely scent to it. Breaking a nug open really reveals the terpenes diesel scented profile. It’s quite wonderful, reminiscent of Durban Poison and Sour Diesel. Feel - This flower has the familiar light, fluffy feel that we’ve come to know from sativas. Once you have broken a few portions off and your fingers can stick together, you truly appreciate the resin content. Taste from a dry pipe - The taste is heavy and pleasant. Upon exhale, it has a sharp spice and finishes with a heavy diesel taste that will leave you forever remembering this iconic strain. Effects - The high THC content helps create a very energetic and uplifting high. The sativa effects come on strong and fast (novice smokers may want to start slow with this one). If you are looking for something to get you motivated, this is a great choice. It’s a very focused, euphoric high. The indica traits also make Chemdawg special. Shortly after appreciating the sativa effects, a calming wave comes over, washing my anxiety and stomach pain away. Overall impressions - This is a favorite, definitely 10/10. A great go-to for a very potent strain that will leave you in a clear headed spot to get things done, and maybe spark some creativity. This strain may also aid in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and pain.
