Arbuscular Mycorrhiza and Growth Responses of Several Ornamental Plants Grown in Soilless Peat-based Medium Amended with Coconut Dust (Coir)
By SomeDude
Coconut fiber dust (coir) is being used as a peat substitute or amendment to potting mixes with varied results. However, its microbial composition and compatibility with beneficial microbes that might be added to growth media in the nursery, such as mycorrhizal fungi, has not been determined. In this study, coir was amended to a peat-based medium (15%, 30%, 45%, and 60% by volume) to determine its effects on growth of several ornamental plants and on the formation and function of the arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungus Glomus intraradices.

Granny Storm Crow's MMJ Reference List
-
January 2012
Well, here I am again, staring at this blank screen, trying to figure out what to say so you will share the
information I have gathered. ―Once the medical facts about cannabis become known, the need for
legalization becomes obvious!‖ How many times have I said that? I need YOU to educate those around
you. I can‘t do it alone!
2017
https://www.dropbox.com/s/lt8vfe5b2ice0tt/GSCL_News_2017July.pdf?dl=0
Well, here I am at the dispensary, “playing catch-up” with the List,
mailing it out, one by one, to all 3,000+ of you on my mailing list.
So anyway, I’m about 2 weeks behind schedule. Without getting into
the details, “life has been happening” to me lately, and it keeps
getting in the way of getting the List to all of you. Sorry about the
delay! And if you really need the List in WORD, just get in touch
with me.
I have divided the List up into sections once again, simply because it
is absolutely huge! When combined, the four sections contain over
4,200 pages of links. Once you open the links I’ve provided, you
should download the List and then hit “bookmarks” to get the handy
navigation index.
The first section is plain old news articles for those of you who are
just beginning to learn about cannabis, or who simply prefer a shorter
version of the medical facts. It also has a mini-dictionary at the
bottom to help you with some of those new words you’ll be learning.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/lt8vfe5b2ice0tt/GSCL_News_2017July.pdf?dl=0
The second section contains all of the new studies from 2010 to 2017.
For most of you, this will be the most useful section. I have
recently added several new sections as research into cannabis grows
broader in its scope.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/9n0jd632gr204q0/GSCL_MAIN_2017July.pdf?dl=0
Next are the older studies. These often contain the basic facts that
we need to understand the newer studies, as well as answers to
questions like “How long should I hold a “hit”?” or “What the heck is
an endocannabinoid?”. There is a lot of very good information in
these older studies, so don’t ignore them simply because they are
“old”!
https://www.dropbox.com/s/nhzbt4fuly96de7/GGSCL_Old_%202017%20July%20.pdf?dl=0
The last section starts with studies on the Endocannabinoid System and
ends with the Synthetic Cannabinoids. The endocannabinoid system acts
as a messaging system in our bodies and our health depends on its
health. (Take your Omega 3 daily to boost your endocannabinoid
system!) The “hows and whys” of the endocannabinoid system are the
future of modern medicine.
I don’t like the new synthetic cannabinoids which can be far more
potent than the natural cannabinoids. The synthetics, often referred
to as the “Spice” drugs, have caused the deaths of several healthy
young adults from unexpected heart and kidney failure. However, since
scientists in the US are all but forbidden to do research with the
natural cannabinoids, they must “make do” with using the more
dangerous synthetics for their research, until our archaic drug laws
are changed. Other countries are quickly surpassing us in cannabis
research, as we fall further and further behind because of our laws.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/bbmvgzwep5o1r8u/GSCL_%20SyntheticCannabinoids_2017July.pdf?dl=0
The truth about cannabis has been hidden for over 80 years, but my
List gives you the medical facts, the truth, about cannabis and how it
heals. It is time for the lies to stop, and to let the truth shine
forth brightly. And as my late grandfather once said, “If the truth
won’t do, then something is wrong!
