I wonder just how many hitchhikers there really are in the insect world how many of Them are we picking up ? Spider mites Are well known for their hitchhiking ability . Just a trip outside is all it takes in there in . Can you identify for me other hitchhikers I would be highly interested . The best solution I have found is not to go into your garden before showering and Dressing in fresh clothing If you can add anything to this your help is greatly appreciated after all we are all at risk . It's like a mama always said picking up hitchhikers is dangerous !

If one stops to think about this for a moment it is clear to see that i pose a perfectly good question or quite rather a couple of questions which will undoubtedly unfold into many questions . Perhaps by Understanding just what the basics are We can help alleviate many common gardening problems . For most people the basics are simply a matter of proper lighting and feeding it's a great start and doesn't get any more basic than that . Unfortunately is not near enough information is just a matter of time before trouble strikes . So we have to talk the basics a little bit further, So we must look into the basics of pest control . You name it ! You're guaranteed to have it at some point in time unless you've prevented it . And it's all in the basics . A good Tip is not to put a band aid on the problem prevent things before they happen when you truly have it down the most common problems such as PM spider mites And a whole host of other problems Will disappear right before your eyes . Another great tip for getting the basics down is ignoring tips from gardeners having repeated problems over and over again follow that advice and you're doomed to the same fate instead find a farmer who has healthy clean girls not complaining of problems that's advice you can take to the bank .

Alzheimer’s, Mom and Cannabis
Posted by Skunk Pharm Research,LLC.
It is Skunk PharmResearch’s policy to let patients tell their own story, but in the case of mom, as her daughter and 24/7 caregiver, I will speak for her. She is in the late seventh and final stage of Alzheimer’s and would want her story told.
Mom was diagnosed as late stage six when she came to me from Seattle four years ago. She was given six more months to live. She began displaying symptoms before 1998, but she wasn’t diagnosed until 2001, following her first husband’s death. It took that long to resolve other health issues and get her to a neurologist.
Just the thought of Alzheimer’s frightened her so, that we eventually had to trick her, to get her to a doctor for testing. Once tested and diagnosed, they put her on Aricept, which brought back cognitive skills, with slow decline for the next seven years while my step brother cared for her in her own home. Along with other western meds, this was her medical course.

febuary 2011 my wife came to me and said that she wanted to change the way we do things as far as grocery shopping and eating were concerned. i went in for a physical and that was the trigger my wife said. i weighed in at 264lbs. first off we just decided to start shopping the exterior wall of the store (still winco at this time) for most our stuff. the walls are where the fresher stuff is. we weeded out the noodle ronis, and all other things that carried a load of preservatives and growth hormones. we carried on like that for about a month. then my wife came to me for an "update" on this convo / situation. we decided to go one step further, to try and go all organic.....now i didnt know much about this stuff so we took a couple weeks to educate ourselves. some things matter more than others and some not much at all. we began shopping at joes w/ the exception of cheeses and meats and a few other odds and ends. those in particular WERE definitely more expensive. we elected to continue at winco for those items. the way i figure it, ppl spend tons of money on jenny craig or workout memberships, im just spending it on my food and now eliminating all the other legwork to get healthy. i kept track of my recipes for 2 months running on the comp and broke it all out to price / measurement of all items. not the price for the items as different packages / companies deal in different weights. what i came up with is this....if i were to go to winco and fill my cart w/ everything except meat and cheeses, bring it up to 200 dollars. then go to joes (get the same items and quantities) and do the same thing, i came out spending about 15 dollars more at joes. sounded good to me.
well, here i am now in april of 2012 and im now daown to 195 - 205 lbs. thats 60 pounds or so!
i feel a little guilty as i know it IS easier for men than women but i can honestly tell you the only other thing we changed is eating fast food much less. maybe from 2, 3 times / week to about 1 / month now. you hear stories from time to time where someone decided to commit to being a gym rat for 3 months straight working out for 4 hours a day. well i did nothing like that, no exercise change. i just put better fuel into my body. im a joes fan for life!
hope this inspires someone, im personally thrilled.

SOPA mutates into much worse CISPA, the latest threat to internet free speech
(NaturalNews) Just because SOPA and PIPA, the infamous internet "kill switch" bills, are largely dead does not mean the threat to internet free speech has become any less serious. The Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA), also known as H.R. 3523, is the latest mutation of these internet censorship and spying bills to hit the U.S. Congress -- and unless the American people speak up now to stop it, CISPA could lead to far worse repercussions for online free speech than SOPA or PIPA ever would have.
CNET, the popular technology news website that was among many others who spoke up against SOPA and PIPA earlier in the year, is also one of many now sounding the alarm about CISPA, which was authored by Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) and Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-Md.). Though the bill's promoters are marketing it as being nothing like SOPA or PIPA, CISPA is exactly like those bills, except worse.
What CISPA will do, if passed, is remove all the legal barriers that currently stop internet service providers, government agencies, and others from arbitrarily spying on internet users. In the name of "cybersecurity," a term that is undefined in the bill, CISPA will essentially allow internet users to be surveilled by the government without probable cause or a search warrant, which is a clear violation of users' constitutional civil liberties.
Additionally, it will allow websites like Google, Facebook, and Twitter to intercept emails, text messages, and other private information that might be considered a threat to "cybersecurity." The government can then demand access to this information, even if it has nothing to do with copyright infringement, which is one of the excuses being used for why such a bill is needed in the first place.

This series is an old one,,,
But a good basic on the cheap way of cloning for novice.
I am a re-purpose kind of person for those of you that do not know, love to tinker and figure out how to do something with what is on hand rather than removing dead Presidents from my wallet.
I was an outdoor seed grower, no need to clone my cannabis, I ran a strain from the 70's with little interuption or need to get another strain,,, rock solid, we grew seed plants selected from outdoor starts in separate locations, two plants out every ten or twelve years. The source of the seed remains dear to my heart in 1977.
After seed plants were stolen, came online and indoor and decided that a Jamaican seed that I brought back from Negril was gonna be a good one to start, so I got one girl from 3 beans and I cloned her.
Here she was... Momma (She sired 145 offspring, but this was the first plant after cuttings...)
I went to the pantry and we had a stack of aluminum roasters with plastic lids from a dollar store or something, so I got a tray and lid, about two dollars, my Shulze's Indole 3- Butryic Acid cloning powder from the barn, some perlite without additives, a razor blade and set about to wacking off four lowers from my Jamaican.
I put a hole in the tray, about 3/4 inches up on the side, that would be my high water mark, then I filled the pan with perlite, and added water until it came out of the hole. ( I never added another drop )
I set the tray under an 18WATT single small flourescent light, about 2700K iirc, about a foot over where the lid would be on a shelf.
I took the cuttings and placed in a cup of water. Two were cut at 90 degrees, straight across the stem, and two were cut at a 45 diagonal with my blade.
Dipped in water, into the powder and placed in a pencil size hole I made in the perlite, put in the cutting and pushed
the wettened perlite up against the stem to hold them up.
I stuck em under the light with the lid on and misted once a day with my tap water...
About 5 days later, a slight pull on the stem gave resistance, on the 7th day I yanked em up and found the proliferation of roots was much greater on the diagonal cut stems.

Hope this helps someone....
